‘Haiwaan’ Gets UA 16+ Certificate, Runtime Revealed Ahead of Release
“Haiwaan” has cleared the certification process ahead of its September 11 theatrical release. The Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan starrer has received a UA 16+ certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification, with the certificate issued on September 8.
The Priyadarshan directorial has a runtime of 164 minutes and 7 seconds, or 2 hours, 44 minutes and 7 seconds.
The UA 16+ certification places the film in the CBFC’s category for audiences aged 16 and above, while its nearly 2 hour 45 minute runtime gives Priyadarshan considerable room to unfold the film’s narrative. The certification comes just three days before its scheduled theatrical debut, completing a key pre release step for the film.

The film stars Boman Irani, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Saiyami Kher, Sharib Hashmi, Rajpal Yadav, Rajesh Sharma, Pahal Chaudhary and Manoj Joshi alongside Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan.
Priyadarshan also reunites with Akshay after their collaborations on “Hera Pheri,” “Garam Masala” and “Bhool Bhulaiyaa.”
